- Legends:
  • Blarney Castle and the ¨Blaney Stone¨ : there is an element that is sought above all the elements of the castle, the so-called "Blarney Stone". it is a block of stone that historically was used in the coronation ceremonies of the Scottish kings during the Middle Agesthis stone is located on top of a large tower.

  •  Three-leaf clovers: No wonder clovers are an iconic symbol of Ireland. According to legend, they are considered a sacred plant because their leaves formed a triad, and the number 3 was a mystical digit in the Celtic religion.

-Myths:
  • Leprechaun, the most famous of the Irish elves: he is a tiny leprede who possesses a material manifestation, but also enjoys supernatural powers. It is said that they have lived in Ireland long before the arrival of the first men, and that they often manifest themselves in places of power, where the well-known fairies also live.

  • The Banshees, are irish fairies who are female spirits who, according to legend, come from another world to warn us of the passing of a family member or loved one in the coming days. To this end, the Banshees take the form of a young woman, harpy or matron, and spend the night crying in the home of the mortal to which they will announce her death.

-Writers:
  • John Banville
    He is originally from Wexford, is known for his novel The Sea, winner of the Man Booker Award. But this author has been writing for years. His career began in 1975 with a collection of short stories, which was quickly followed by several popular novels.
  • Samuel Beckett:
    Beckett was a novelist of recognized merit, with unique and surprising linguistic twists. Born in Dublin shortly after the turn of the century, he was a disciple of James Joyce in Paris during the 1920s and remained a member of the resistance during World War II.
